Eyemouth Harbour Trust has appointed Paul Olvhoj as its new Business and Community Growth Manager, bringing more than 25 years’ international experience to lead the next phase of investment and job creation at the Harbour.
Paul’s career includes service in the Royal Navy, roles in the energy sector in around the world and vessel chartering and agency. In his previous position, Paul was responsible for the commercial development of Orkney Harbour’s busy portfolio including the Port Masterplan. He will carry that experience to his role at Eyemouth, where he will focus on developing commercial opportunities and income streams that support the long-term sustainability of the harbour and the wider community.
Eyemouth Harbour Trust is currently progressing the delivery phase of its £250 million Harbour Masterplan vision, which sets out a framework for regeneration, marine-sector growth, improved infrastructure and wider economic benefits for the town and the South of Scotland. Paul’s role will include engagement with industry, investors and community partners to help realise these ambitions.
