No public access during works from Monday 29th July 2024 for approx. 6-8 weeks
Please note that works to install handrails on west pier at Eyemouth Harbour will commence on Monday 29th July 2024 and there will be no public access to the west pier during works, expected to take 6-8 weeks to complete.
Works will involve removal of existing railings and installation of new handrails and ladder gates around the west pier. The timing of these works is dictated by contractor availability, manufacturing time-scales and funding deadlines.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, however, these works are essential to enhance public safety in this increasingly popular area of the harbour.
