Eyemouth harbour - guest book

Just love Eyemouth - Oblo and Churches are great for food and the Ship and the Tavern bars great for live bands on a Saturday night. bookbookbook

Love Eyemouth and the harbour, many many special memories. Great atmosphere, Can spend hours sitting at the harbour, fishing, feeding sea lions, watching the boats come in and go out. Always go to Eyemouth for crabs, fav shellfish. Brilliant place highly recommended. bookbookbook

We had a wonderful stay i your harbour even if it was extended b a break down the Duncan MacFarlane fixed for us. We want to tell you that we found the bharbour staf to a man and woman to be wonderful, helpful and a huge amount of fun - the craic was exceptionla once Alex had worked out our colonial ways and realised that I was old rugby player! I do a daily blog of our circumnavigation and you can see the days we were with you on postings for the days 77, 78, 79, 80 and 81 on http://capeseal.wordpress.com/ It has pictures of the harbour and some of the staff - particularly Ivan and Alex and may be of interest to you. It is likely to be published into a book and you may wish to comment. I would keen for you to register on the blog to follow our progress as at lkeast three other harbours are commenting almost daily. Could I also receive a comment as to whether you were able to access the days and showed Alex and Ivan their pictures. Well done to you all - it may have taken me a full day to clean the boat in Amble but we begrudged none of the lovly time we had in Gunsgreen with the fishing fleet. My only negative comment is that you need to get declarations on record so that youb fuel to pleasure vessels is affordable - it would have been the most expeensive fuel on the whole trip for me!

We visited Eyemouth. The Harbour Master and his team were first class. We really enjoyed the town and the pontoon and services were excellent. Really good shops - fresh fish, meat and a great bakery.

Very nice harbour with a lot of scottish feeling after a 300 nm trip from ijmuiden/nl. We spent 1,5 days in June and found a great hospitality. After eyemouth we sailed back directly to the netherlands. cu again bookbookbook
